Our STORY

 
It all began in the UK in 2004 after watching Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman on The Long Way Round TV show.   After the show my love of motorcycles was re-born, and the idea of riding a bike again just smouldered away in my subconscious for a few years.

When I moved with my family to the other side of the world, that idea eventually became real. In 2013 I started to ride again, and have been riding almost daily since.

Since then, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with all things motorcycle related, including great classic custom bikes and more importantly t-shirts with Motorcycles or with Motorcycle themeson them.  

My favourites that  I wear all the time from  are from: Triumph, Full Tank, Long Way Round, Gasoline Motor co and The Bikeshed.  I love the simple designs and the quality of theses T-shirts. Quality is important and a great design on a cheap T-shirt just doesn’t do it for me.

While working from home one day I read an article about a web site called abetterlemonadstand.com called "How I built an Online T-shirt Business in 24 Hours"(or something like that).

I was so inspired that I decided what not give that a Go!!  Why not just create a simple brand and design that I would buy and wear and maybe other motorcycle loving people would too?  The brand idea came from the popular weekend road near where we live in Berowra, Northern Sydney used and loved by motorcycles, classic cars and cyclist… The Old Pacific Highway or The Old Pac Hwy for short.

I started sketching a few designs and sharing them with friends. Some liked the bikes, others asked for classic cars, so I worked on a few for a couple of months starting in May 2018.
 

The designs in the end where the easy bit.  Trying to find a local reputable printer was the hard part,  but after testing a few I found one that I was happy to use and share with you.   

That’s the start of this story. I hope you love the T-shirts as much as I do, and hopefully, we can build the brand together and put the Old Pac Hwy on the map,  see you in the twisties...
